Why Cats And Dogs Fight?

I live for the times which our cats and dogs at home basically play and love each other when I was 7 years old. These pets of ours are very adorable. They protect each other and even eat meals together. It makes me feel sorry whenever I see dogs and cats fight on the street but then I could not do something about it. I’m afraid I might threaten them if I scold them. Maybe this is the other way around the world treat us, everything is not perfect.

I would say cats are much more aggressive to dogs. Dogs are usually friendly and peculiar to other animals. There is a chance that fight starts to occur because cats maybe offended by the friendly curiosity of the dogs and dogs get offended by the angry cats.

Dogs are more likely to hate cats due to misunderstanding. They communicate and open friendship by wagging its tail while cats wag their tails when angry. In this way, cats will perceive this action as the dog approaching a fight.

In order to prevent the fight, socialization between the two pets is necessary while they’re still young. Remember that well mannered dog have the possibility to tolerate their companions especially the cats.  It will always be your responsibility as a pet owner to do this. I would also advice that dogs and cats should be separated while eating meals. It is also beneficial to let the two know that they are both a part of the household.

Against Dog Fighting

Don’t you know that the fighting dog has a few friends? They live in the life full of brutality and cruelty. It breaks my heart to see them like this, knowing that they are in the hands of hearted stone people who gamble them on their deaths. These animals are victims of cruelty. These animals have feelings too, they can feel pain and slump.

Are you going to support this kind activity? Have you ever thought about it? There are some individual who say that they do not agree with this activity but they keep sending money to gamble. Sadly, this is the truth.
The abuse and cruelty of these animals are very awful. Remember, dog fighting is illegal in our law but still practicing by some people around us. It’s quite disappointing that some of them are high profile individual involved.

Don’t support this group who don’t include these animals in their life of compassion. Don’t let them use this activity as an excuse for entertainment. Cruelty to animals is not a game.

If you see a dog fighting in progress, you can contact a law enforcer to make an action regarding this situation. Dog fighting is a crime and it should look into by those who have the authority to stop the suffering of these animals.

Please help us to stop this.

A unique Animal Mating Habits

Animal Mating Rituals

Sexual behaviors of animals have many different ways of attaining sexual arousal and a unique range of practices. These animals beat all our human ways of wining and feeding. Some animals go to the extreme method of mating. Most of us have seen a dog or cat breeding. This scenario is often seen and basically normal for us.

What I want to point here is that not all animals breed the way which is most well known method, there are many of these species have different ways of mating habits. Some of the animals clone themselves or urinate on their partners to attract them. These mating rituals are really amazing and wonderful. It ensures that each of their own species multiplies to repeat the cycle to be able to continue their existence on the planet earth.

Language of Love: Animal Breeding Habits

1. Bee --The reproductive cycle of bees is amazing. The virgin bees attract the male bees in the hives by feeding them. During mating, the genital area of the male explodes and snaps off inside the female. Snapping off the penis serves as a genital attachment to avoid other bees from fertilizing the female bee. This method is successful in attaining animal reproduction, it is also applies to some other species like male wasp spider.

2. Chimpanzee -- This species uses sex as a form of greetings, making up for fights, solving challenges and a favor for exchanging foods. Like humans, they also engage in oral sex, tongue kiss, mutual masturbation and penis fencing.

3. Flat Worm -- Sex is more like war than love for flat worms. These species are hermaphrodites where in they consists of both male and female sex organs. In this way, male organ turns out to be two penises which is also beneficial in hunting and mating. During breeding, the two flat worms fight through penis fencing to poke each other. The one loses will absorb the sperm through its skin and then turns out to carry the motherhood.

4. Frigate Bird -- Male frigate bird has a throat sac which can be inflated with hard work that takes about 20 minutes to form into a giant red, heart shaped balloon. It attracts the female frigate bird upon shaking its wings and wagging its head. Thus, female bird will mate with the male which has the largest and shiniest balloon. During mating period, male bird puts its wings over the eyes of its partner to make sure it doesn't get destructed by other male birds which also have much nicer balloons.

5. Red-Sided Garter Snake -- When a female snake comes out from hibernation, it releases an element called pheromone that pulls in male snakes for mating. Male snakes have two penises on each side of the body. The male will then use the best-positioned and creates a large twisting mating ball for reproduction.

6. Hyenas -- Female hyenas are much larger, aggressive and stronger than the males. These female hyenas contain also of balls and large clitoris. In mating process, the male has to insert his penis into her pseudopenis. It is really amazing to know that female hyenas also give birth through a penis.

7. Giraffe -- Mating is quite hard for male giraffes, so when a male engage with a female giraffe, he will make a procedure known as “fleshman sequence”. To be able to perform this, the male giraffe pushes or shakes the female to induce urination; he will then taste the urine and if it’s good to him, male giraffe will begin the courtship method through following the female all around until it gives in.

8. Penguin -- Penguins are looking for mates through making a bugling call. Male penguins usually stay in one place, lower their head up to the chest and call out to the females. Like in most birds, they don’t have an external genital. The male sperm is produced in an area called cloaca where it urinates, defecate and reproduce.  Female penguin lies on the ground while the male urges his cloaca and passes the sperm.

9. Snail -- Snail genitals are located on their necks, right behind their eye-stalks. They have both male and female sex organs but cannot be able to self-fertilize. Before the snails mate, they shoot love darts which is rich in calcium. The mucus in the darts allows sperms to be formed in the snail’s uterus and helped it attain successful reproduction.

    10. Whiptail Lizards -- All whiptail lizards are female so they can’t have sex. Mating process is done where two females act the roles of a male coupling a female and switch roles afterwards. This is necessary to stimulate egg production in both lizards.

In any ways or methods these creatures mate, whether they are monogamous or polygamous, these species play a major role in keeping the environment alive. Without them, human life will not also be complete and exciting.

Why Do Dogs Get Lock When Mating

    Canine Reproduction

Dog breeding process is not complicated, it is truly amazing. Nature has reached a way to ensure that fertilization will occur in animal reproduction. If you have ever seen a dog mating and gets lock up, you’ll probably worry that your pet will be injured or put into danger because some of them would cry and seems to be hurt while being locked together end to end. Helping escaping the dogs from this scenario can lead to a much more complicated situation.

Male dogs can start to have a sperm production by the age of 7 to 10 months old. Stud dogs are supposed to reproduce between 18 months and 4 years old after the number of sperm starts to lessen and so with the female dogs before the ability to penetrate eggs to decrease. By the age of 10 years old most stud dogs cannot be able to producesperm anymore that will impregnate a female dog.

    Mating of Inexperience Dog

A virgin dog will sometimes be anxious and difficult to breed. They will often be unsure, less skilled and unquestionably inexperience. It is beneficial if the experience dog will make the performance and to be mated the first few times. It is therefore advisable to mate virgin dogs to experience one.

    Steps to Successful Mating
    • Make it sure that your dog is ready to mate at around 10 to 12 days after going into heat.
    • Watch for the signals before mating. Usually you can see the signs when the discharge of the female dog changed from color dark red to tan color.
    • Try to bring the two dogs together all the time for several days to avoid skittishness behavior.
    • When ready, female dogs are better to lubricate her vagina with a non-spermicidal agent to help the male dog a little.
    • It is normal to expect foreplay between the two dogs. It is a form of courting session before the serious business of mating has to engage.
    • At the beginning of mating, dogs will release sperm and prostatic fluid. Getting lock together while copulating is normal for dogs. Locking method of the two dogs prevents the semen from leaking. It ensures the reproduction process to be successful.
    Why Do Dogs Get Lock?

A dog’s penis is not erect upon entering the vagina. A small bone found inside the penis called baculum that holds the penis to attain penetration. Once the penis has reached inside the vagina, the bulbus glandis will start to congest with blood. The bulbus glandis that is found at the base stem of the penis will swell once it has reached inside the vagina then eventually lock the dogs. Others called this as the mating tie.

This could last from 5 to 30 minutes. As soon as the dogs lock, the male dog commonly moves his leg over the back of the female dog, turns butt to butt. After the male as finished ejaculating the bulbus glandis, it will return to its normal size and the dogs will be separated.

    Mating Is Done

Do not do or put anything to get them apart. Even ice cannot help them to separate; it could only lead your dogs to much more complicated situation. The male dog is supposed to swell and lock inside the female’s vagina for 5 to 30 minutes.

Mating tie could be a suffering to animals, some of them may cry. Never attempt to separate them. It is good to watch closely and keep the two dogs calm. If the female dog is much bigger than the male dog, she can hurt the male if she tries to pull away and panicked, in this case, try to calm your pet by staying on their side. If she knows you’re there, she will be able to steady still until the male has finished ejaculating and automatically pulls them away.

    Impregnation Period

If impregnation occurs, that is the right time to call your pets a successful parents, by letting them know the new bunch of joy waits and will arrive in a couple of months.

Breeding is one natural way that needs a few interventions from the owner than placing the two dogs in a safe and secure environment together. If the timing is wrong, wait for the female to go into heat again in about 6 months.

However, another thing to remember is that female dogs are also prone to possible health problems. As an owner, you have to be responsible enough and aware of these conditions. Puppies are also prone to health problems, the vaccination and food for the puppies is necessary. It is recommended to bring them more frequently to the clinic for proper assessment.
